Like a bridge over flowing water la la la

- – - a bridge over Jordan River…

I have MANY favourite places.

Exactly 6 years ago I re-located from the magnificent scenery,
and countryside in BIG South Africa,
to the magnificent scenery and countryside
of not so big ISRAEL…

In fact Israel is the same size as the popular game park ..
Kruger National Park, in S.A. and while I travelled lots in S.A. –
I seldom stopped to smell the flowers and look and stare and see –
the way I do in my new place.

In fact much water has flowed under many bridges,
and NOW I stop at every bridge, everywhere, to watch the water ….

and MY favourite being the Old WOODEN Bridge across the Jordan River,
where the water flows, oh so gently, and with musical gurgling sounds,
and some people float in kayaks….for a few hundred meters
to the south…

and another unforgettable spot,
is where the River Jordan flows out of the Sea of Galilee (Kinneret)
where many people enter the water at The Baptising site,

and continues south….in some places only a couple of meters wide…
and flows under several other bridges,

to a site where many people enjoy boating and rafting,
and another place where people swim in the JORDAN
as it goes under yet another one of the bridges…..

and on its way to The Dead Sea.

Certainly much water has flowed in River Jordan,
and I am now (at this moment) planning to “DO”
the complete route –of course soon.

As the rain season has begun (will do in a rented car),
of following this river from its source (up north) down to the Dead Sea.
