It’s official – the biggest pop singer in the world is coming to Israel.

Kelly Clarkson is going to give two shows next month in Tel Aviv – March 26th and 27th at the cavernous Hangar 1 club.

It’s quite a change from the usual 70s and 80s artists coming here on their 10th comeback tour.

Her album Breakaway has been at the top of the Israeli charts for about two months now, and her songs are all over the radio. Good thing that she’s great – something both my teenage kids and myself can agree on.

And… her guitar player is a bona fide Israeli – Danny Weiss from Kfar Saba. I met him last year in the US, and he’s the nicest guy imagineable.

So, welcome Kelly!
