Mixed Feelings
Israelis are struggling with mixed feelings as the UN deal take shape. Many, like Imshin, are not happy about it
It looks like Olmert and the other fools in this government have really botched this war. And now they’re running away. I’m depressed and worried. Depressed at such foolishness. Worried what their cowardice and defeatism is going to cost us.
I do not support a ceasefire. I do not support defeatism and cowardice and stupidity. I know it is easy for me to speak from ’safe’ Tel Aviv with no children in shelters and no husband in Lebanon, but if this ceasefire goes through, there will be much more sitting in air raid shelters and much more husbands going off to war.

your right things will get worse. just read caroline glicks article on JPost.
I just can’t believe your govt. is quitting so soon. Everybody agreed Israel
had the right to defend itself. So now you pull out before you defeat those who would commit Genocide. History shows this will not help, it’s only temporary at best. Run Israel back to your lives, get those shops open grab a Latte and everything will be fine. what freakin idiots!!
Giving up so soon???????????????????
So this is how it ends. So this is how Islam’s finest (Hezbollah) defeated the West’s best (Israel). By turning the west against itself.
If we lack the will to fight here, what will we do when Iran gets nukes?
