Wary, But Hopeful, Waiting for a Vacation

Many Israelis had vacation to the north of the country booked for the summer. For many, it is too late, but others still see a chance.Imshin is watching and waiting:
On the TV, we see pictures of gigantic Lebanese traffic jams, as tens of thousands of Lebanese make their way home to the south.
Israelis are more wary. Most are waiting, just in case.
It seems to me that the Lebanese instinctively know that Israel can be trusted not to bomb crowds of civilians (whatever they may screech about our indiscriminate cruelty to a receptive foreign press).
And Israelis know, just as instinctively, that Hizballah cannot be trusted.
Me? Maybe I’m naive, but I’m starting to get my hopes up that we will be able to go for our holiday in a hotel on the northern border next week, as planned. I’ll wait a day or two, before I call to see if the hotel is still there.

Dear Allison : the hotel must be here still and for ever.
Is over the war ? In anyway you need a great holiday. Your reports was extraordinary, like CNN.
Happy break, then !!!
