Jameel, who has been blogging the war relentlessly, attended the funeral yesterday for Captain Benia Rein, 27, who was killed in combat in Lebanon on Saturday.
Jameel took photos and wrote a moving first-hand account of the funeral, which you can see/read here.
Toward the end of the ceremony, when the honor guard fired, Jameel took this short video with his cell phone:

what I noticed as different, was that the shots that rang out…slowly echoed away into the distance.
Normally, when shots are fired the noise dissipates quickly…but this time, the sound slowly echoed through the hills of the Shomron, as yet another brave IDF soldier who died fighting for us to live in a Jewish state, was buried in Israel.
