Men and Their Toys
Sagi Rubin, an associate at Gemini Israel Funds (a technology Venture Capital firm), has been blogging only a little about the war, and a lot about technology. Perhaps, as he says, “Now that the war is (hopefully) over (at least on paper) – Its a good time to get back to highlighting some of the incredible technology innovations that Israel is (and should really be) known for.”
Anything you say, Sagi. Because I can’t resist a man with pearly whites like these:

Anyway, back to the ranch . . .
According to (my future boyfriend) Sagi, the Israeli company Mirage Innovations has been developing these goggles-turned-monitors:

According to the link from Sagi’s site,
Mirage Innovations makes lenses and other components to transform a pair of goggles into a monitor. The LightVu module creates a viewing experience that’s similar to watching a 42-inch TV at a distance of seven feet. Pictured (above) is a set of goggles and (below) the goggles with a controller that lets you zoom in and out.
Wasn’t there an addictive game like this on one of the Star Trek spinoffs?

Sarah,
You do know that the old saw, “The one who dies with the most toys wins,” is a lie perpetrated by people who really don’t understand the game. The reality is, the one who dies with the coolest toys wins.
