Aravision

Dreams of fame and stardom abound in the Arab sector in Israel. Though there is no reason that Arab Israelis couldn’t participate in Israel’s mainstream “American Idol” clone (Arab Israelis have won three major reality show contests already) there is a separate singing — and dancing contest in Arabic.

Carmia of Kishkushim offers pictures and commentary on “Aravision” — a play on the name of the popular Eurovision song contest. It’s so nice to see Carmia back in the groove and blogging about subjects other than Katyusha attacks.
