Over last winter and spring, many of us were following the serial memoirs of Jill Cartwright, a charming blonde shiksa from England who somehow found herself living in Tel Aviv, working at Ha’aretz with an Israeli rock star boyfriend. After a looooong summer break, she’s back with Chapter 13. If you haven’t read the earlier installments yet over at One Jerusalem, it’s a fascinating tale. Guess she’s trying to finish up before her rumored departure for England, boyfriend in tow. Jill?

    2. It is always a tragedy when a Jew acts in the destruction of the Jewish people through [possible] intermarriage.

    Surely the “rock star” knows better than to go an live in that horrible place named England.

    In the whole of Israel he cant find a Jewish girlfriend? Pathetic.

    What have you got against non-jews anyway? Maybe she is a jew at heart and soul and converts in the future?
