Kumquats or Kabbalah?

Pixane gets an interesting phone call:

Food for the soul?

I have long been hoping they’ll open a green grocer nearby. Considering this is the heart of Tel Aviv, and there’s nothing you can’t find within a two block radius, the nearest green grocer is pretty far, and we end up just buying what they have at the supermarket.

Well, I just got a phone call, a little survey they’re doing of residents of Bar-Kochva street, to gauge interest in a new establishment that just opened here. No, it’s not a green grocer, but really the next best thing. A brand new Kabbalah mysticism center, right at our doorstep! I don’t know how we made it this far without one…

  2. The Kabbalah cult made popular by Madonna [accent on mad] has nothing to do with Judaism. The residents of the area ought to reject it and have it closed down as if it were a Christian evangelical center.
