One more post on homosexuals in Jerusalem – for the road
Well, the Gay Pride Parade “issue” is over, for this year at least. They had a small rally at Hebrew University in Givat Ram, and I haven’t seen any headlines about anyone being hurt so I’m assuming that it generally went smoothly. Maybe now we can all go back to talking about normal subjects, like terrorism and Lebanon and Syria and how embarrassed we are by our own political leaders.
But, for the road, Haaretz reports on the homosexual daughter of a prominent Rabbi-Professor, and how the Rebbetzin is helping to heal families of gay and lesbian Orthodox Jews in Jerusalem.

I was there, and it wasn’t such a small rally – the stadium was pretty packed. It went incredibly well, and everyone there was incredbily respectful and it was a very uneventful event.
It is sad to read that intimidation and civil disturbance decides matters in Israel.
How proud can any Israeli be when the ignorant and the bigotted prevail?
If there were a hell, its inhabitants would be the Haredi, intolerant Orthodox, Evangelical Christians and Islamics. They all deserve each other.
Those who hate – and hate is what it is – lesbian and gay individuals for what they are, may join Hitler, Stalin, Ahmahdinejad and all the other tyrrants. They deserve each other.
Faith and Force are synonymous.
Without Faith Israel would not exist.
Before you know it they will be doing on the streets of the Holy City what they do every year at the Folsom Street Fair in San Francisco, USA.

That is how they work, through gradualism. Each year they gain a little more until you know it they are out there being as provative as they want.

But then again, G_D will probably not allow that to happen to the Holy City. Even if that means that G-D will let the city go the same way Sodom and Gomorrah did.
Genesis 19:24
Then the L__D rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the L__D out of the heavens.
Of course that is how they saw it back then. Now all G-D has to do is allow Iran to build nuclear weapons which to destroy Israel. It wouldn’t be the first time that G-D has turned His back upon the Jews and delivered them to their enemies for them turning away from Him first.
You don’t mess with God’s City and get away with doing it for long.
What came first – faith or the Jewish nation….?
It was the loss of Israel, TWICE, that almost destroyed the Jews. It decimated our nation over the millenia.
I agree that faith was intrinsic and is intrinsic to the survival of the Jews.
Nevertheless, a country ruled by religion rather than the secular individual freedom, is a country ruled by edict, by force. But man has evolved socially from a collective to an individual neccessecity in order to live free.
Ed, I think you are quite mad! I would also be surprised if you are Jewish. The comment you make is just so unJewish and more akin to the Evangelical Christian fanatics. Are you Pat Robertson in disguise?
