Shooting E-mails Back and Forth, Not Missiles
Don Radlauer has a compelling E-mail exchange with Haaretz columnist/blogger Bradley Burston about this article, which has really resonated across the blogosphere called “We can’t be war criminals, we’re Palestinian.”
In a thousand ways, in a thousand places, the Qassam rocket has
been written off. It has been routinely dismissed as negligible, its capability little more than symbolic, barely a weapon at all when compared to the monstrous might of Israel’s arsenal. Media dispatches sent round the world describe the Qassams as primitive, unguided, home-made.They are all of those. They are also a war crime.
They are a lethal weapon fired intentionally and specifically at purely civilian targets. As such, their use, at the hands of their Palestinian gunners, is a flagrant violation of international law.
Burston has slowly but surely built up a loyal following — he has managed to attract fans across the blogosphere both on the left and the right….good for him. And he gets extra points for being accessible to his readers. I was recently asked by someone at Ha’aretz about how they could upgrade their online presence and I replied, “More Burston, more often.”

There is nothing Ha’aretz can do to upgrade the newspaper, let alone its “online presence”.
They ought to rename that anti-Israel newspaper, “Ha’filistinia”.
Anyone else beside me starting to read Haaretz more often than the J Post for no other reason than less flashy blinking banner ads on Haaretz?
I have stopped reading the Jerusalem Post because of its ads and it solicitation of “Christians”.
