If you’ve ever stumbled over your Hebrew (or any other foreign language) in embarrassment, and you want to feel better, it’s always helpful to see Israelis (or any other foreigner) stumbling over English.

And now you don’t even have to leave the comfort of home to feel better, thanks to the magic of YouTube and its equivalents.

Currently, the most fun you can have laughing at bad English is at this Israeli YouTube equivalent where a cellular provider, Orange, has set up a “recording studio” for preening wannabes to make their own karaoke video. The song of choice: Tom Jones Sexbomb. The guy in the video above is the only one I found out of several who actually seems to have mastered the song and the lyrics. The fun part is going here and watching the folks who were far less successful — like these girls. What makes them truly comedic is the combination of the “video vixen” preening and the terrible reading and singing….

And then there is this Grandpa crew, who seem to be yelling out random syllables in Kazakh with no resemblance to the actual language (or any actual language.)

    3. What a GREAT laugh! Raphael laughed hysterically at two guys in particular. I loved the Senior crew mumbling in Uzbek. Great share.
