Cafe for Survivors

Tel Aviv’s Ramat Ha’Sharon suburb is home to 500 Holocaust survivors who have felt the need for meeting and sharing.

Enter Cafe Europe, a soon-to-open specialty cafe to serve as the get-together venue for area survivors.

Designed in pre-WWII style, the cafe will hold dances from that time period and offer an early 20th century European cuisine menu served in traditional European crockery.

Survivors say the venue will provide an opportunity for talking about the past and also the present and future – children, grandchildren, etc.
