Whose Space is it Anyhow?

Israel’s Consulate General in New York has “rented” space on myspace.com for showcasing Israel. For a look-see, go here.

Israel’s space includes links to video clips like Scenes from Tel Aviv and Who is Israeli?, links to contemporary Israeli music, a link to their blog and pictures, pictures, pictures.. Here’s one video sampling:

And just who is on the site’s friends list? Bar Refaeli, Gael Garcia Bernal, Natalie Portman, George Clooney, Eddy Murphy, Leonardo DiCaprio and the Philippines, among others.
