Radio Peace

February 21, 2007 - 3:15 PM by

A new English language radio station self described as “in touch, in tune and independent” goes live today with aims of increasing Israeli-Palestinian peaceful dialogue.

RAM – with studios in Ramallah and West Jerusalem – is partially funded by South African Isaac Kirsh and based upon ideologies of the popular 702 Talk Radio South Africa widely believed to have played a key role in influencing the country’s transition from apartheid to democracy.

In Hebrew, RAM means lofty and in Arabic it’s short for “Ramallah”. Find the new station at 93.6 on your dial. Good Luck! B’Hazlacha! Mabrook!
