This just in: Hurry down to your local vendor and pick up a copy of Details Magazine. The latest issue – hitting stands tomorrow – carries an uber impressive spread on the “Tel Aviv Bubble”. That would be the edgy, club-going, party circuit, cafe trendies who, according to the article, party hard, cut it loose and are still slamming Red Bulls with vodka at 7 a.m. the morning after.

Tel Aviv Parties While Israel Burns, the article’s title, paints a picture of a living-for- the-moment, debaucherous crowd “ignoring the sociopolitical reality” while grinding to the beats at the city’s S&M and gay hangouts.

Even at straight clubs, notes a gay army major, the bathroom floors are covered with condoms by 3 a.m.


Wild. But folks, it’s bloody Details Magazine!!!. Kudos to writer David Kaufman and photographer Sasha Bezzubov. Good, good stuff.
