This little tidbit in yesterday’s Hebrew press was too eye-catching to pass by:

A new and popular trend among top Israeli business executives is spending the weekend aboard private yachts and picking up (ahem) female companionship en route.

Yachts loaded with 8-10 men, a private chef and skipper head out from Israel on a Friday & dock in Turkey just long enough to pick up “escorts” before heading back to sea. Flowing alcohol, belly dancers and a general party-time atmosphere – Scuba diving optional – is guaranteed.

This is a hush-hush operation gaining popularity via word-of-mouth only (geez, how come?). The price tag: $1200 for the weekend.

    2. “Easy going”, after all, in Israel there is a law against trafficking in human beings.
    Once aboard (and possibly even before that) do the women have a choice, or are they basically captives.
    But as it is all carried out in international waters, they can get away with it, and probably put it on their business expenses account as well.
