Damned Bureaucracy

On the heels of David’s post about the hassles of taking out a second mortgage, Noorster gives a painful blow-by-blow of her day’s travails with some of the stickiest bureaucracies known to these parts: The Ministry of Immigrant Absorption, The Interior Ministry, The Student Authority and a Notary.
Was spoken to by English-speaking Misrad Haklita employee, because now that I can actually explain my needs in Hebrew they had to go and employ people who speak English. Expressed mucho disappointment. Was approached by B1 with desired form. Took form, thanked bureaucrats. Went downstairs.

Very ambitious, Ms. Noorster, for a single day. Cringe cringe. And for those not in the know, “Motherlandese” on Noorster’s site means Hungarian. It’s, um, her mother tongue.
