Sexual Deviants?

Later this month, Palestinian and Arab Israeli lesbians will gather in Haifa for a conference marking the five-year anniversary of their organization, Asawat. Muslim leaders are none-too-happy.

An Islamic Movement statement, referring to the women as “sexual deviants”, also said: “We must not let this fatal cancer spread in our community.”

Why is this not surprising?
