Eyal Podell is ssuuuuuwwwwweeeettt!!! Feast your eyes. Not difficult to do. Mr. Podell came to my personal attention via this YNet story . He stars as Adrian Korbel on the perenially-popular daytime series The Young and The Restless – a role he signed on for in September.

Born in Tel Aviv and raised in the U.S., Podell has a strong affinity for Israel.

My maternal grandfather was a smuggler for the Haganah and my father’s parents were always involved in social causes. So characters who feel a sense of responsibility for a community, country, or family appeal to me. I find these people to be very heroic because they can make sacrifices and place the things they love over their own well-being.”

Had Eyal been around when I went to college, maybe I’d have also gotten hooked on The Y & The R along with the rest of the student body gathered in the student union t.v. room each day at three to watch the latest episode. Water under the bridge.

Meanwhile…he says he may visit later this year. Something to get dressed up for. Oh Joy.

    4. Every since Eyal Podell joined Y&R I have been glued to the TV set. He portrays such charisma to make any woman melt. The way he speaks, the language he uses. He is simply captivating ! I will remain a loyal Canadian fan Eyal !
