Oh the weather is ‘a warmin’ and the mood is light
Tel Aviv smells of cookin’ day and night
Eau de tzimmes, kneidelach and brisket abounds
Topped off with heavenly orange blossom wafting from the nearby playground
It’s Spring! And I still can’t write poetry to save my life! But you get the gist: Everyone’s cooking for Passover and the jasmine scent of blossoming flowers is intoxicating. Bicycling through Tel Aviv is quite the sensory treat these days. And of course, people are beginning to shed their togs with the onset of warm weather.
Not a Fish brings us early-in-the-season images from the Bat Yam beach due south of Tel Aviv…ahhhh.
