Bloggers to the Rescue!

Ariel Sharon’s former spokesperson claims Israel’s reputation can be nudged towards the positive end of the spectrum IF enough humor and goodwill is put to task.
In an interview with San Francisco’s Jewish News Weekly , Ra’anan Gissin conveyed: “I am of the opinion that if you want to have your words remembered, you have to use all the tricks in the book to do that — word associations, stories, sometimes mimicking.”
And who, in Gissin’s opinion, is best suited to pulling tricks from the hat? Why bloggers, by golly jeepers.
“I know news editors at major networks who, instead of tearing off [copy] from the wire and rewriting it, are browsing through blogs to find stories and elements they missed,” he said.
Power up those notebooks.
Gissin, on a JNF Democracy Tour of the U.S., stops in San Fran on Friday.
