Guess who’s in town?

Zeev Rosenstein, that’s who. Never heard of him?

He’s a mob kingpin described by press as one of Israel’s most feared druglords. In from Miami – where he was charged for his part in a major international Ecstasy trafficking scheme – he is back in Israel on a plea bargain deal.

Rosenstein’s arrangement with American and Israeli prosecution teams says he’ll serve his time in Israel in exchange for confessing to a drug conspiracy for moving 700,000 Ecstasy pills from Europe to the United States. And IF the Israeli prosecution indicts him for hiring foreign mercenaries to assassinate mob rivals, both sides agreed his sentence won’t exceed three years.

Upon arrival in Israel, he went straight to a “private wing” of Ayalon Prison so as to avoid assassination attempts. It’s where he’ll spend the holiday – alone.

But will he be able to get special GoodFellas style shipments in prison? (slice the garlic real thin)

Chag Sameach, Zeev (happy holiday). No Hired Hits. Have a Nice Day.
