Hello boys and girls.

We here at Israelity believe in the power of the image. In fact, we believe that sometimes the picture worth a thousand words is worth more than the thousand words (Yes, it was redundant and no, it wasn’t supposed to make sense)

So in the spirit of “the image”, allow us to introduce Foto Fridays.

Vas is das?

You send in your pictures and each Friday we post the image of the week with 1st and 2nd runners up. It’s that simple. Think of it as a showcase & share.

THE RULES:
1) Images MUST be under 400 pixels height and width i.e. 350×350 is fine. 401×401 is not. Please make sure to adjust your pixelage because size, in this case, does matter.
2) JPEG is preferable
3) Images should be (somehow) Israel themed or Israel located or…. Shuk? Beach? Golan nature shots? Cats in Jaffa? Israel Independence Day celebration in Jersey? Fine.
4) Give a 2-sentence description of the image including location. Two sentences. Not run-on. 40 words max.
5) Include your name or your online name, location and a link to a web or blog site if you want it included
6) No porn or gruesome war images. Let’s play nice
7) One image per person per week
8) Deadline for submissions is every Thursday, noon Israel time
9) Send e-mail submissions to: israelity@yahoo.com

Foto Fridays commences next Friday April 13th (ominous music) so get those images a’crackin.
