“Whaddaya feel like doing?”
I dunno. You tell me. I’m boooooorrrrreeeeddd!!!

Anyone who has kids certainly hears this lament from time to time – especially during holidays when the kids are off school and there is inevitable downtime.

What do parents with a whole gaggle of children do to: 1) preserve sanity 2) keep all of the kids entertained 3) continue earning an income….???

It’s beyond me. As Passover holiday stretches into DAY 12 (aye karamba), it’s not that there’s a lack of options. Options abound…

Kid festivals and puppet shows and open air circus performances and mini-golf and wall climbing and kiddie camps and family themed hikes and amusement parks and the zoo and the beach and the playground and…

I think it’s a simple matter of the kids missing other kids and the peer stimulation therein. Because really, how many times can you pack in the light sabres and traipse off to the park to play Darth Vader opposite your child’s Annekin? Someone (ahem) eventually gets hit in the face with the force (uh, light sabre).

Deep breath and off to putt-putt and rollerblading. 5 more days. 5 more days. 5 more days..

    2. Hi from Manhattan. Stumbled upon your blog. I am going through the same thing with my kids here. Only 1 more day for me now!!! Then they will be back to school.
