Memorial Day
April 22, 2007 - 4:30 PM by Stephanie
At 8 p.m. tonight Israel local, Memorial Day for Israel’s fallen soldiers commences with a siren wail, a moment of silence and flags lowered to half mast.

According to Haaretz, since the establishment of the first Jewish neighborhoods outside Jerusalem’s Old City in the late 1800′s, 22,305 soldiers have fallen in combat.
Our hearts and thoughts go out to families, friends and loved ones of those lost.
Shalom, Salaam, Peace.
