My Favorite Job

Where would you ideally like to work? In some Hollywood studio as an exec? In a desert research institute? How about a donut factory? (yeah, okay. That was me)

A new poll by BDI Business Knowledge rated Israel’s most preferred places of employment and the results are somewhat surprising.

The polling institute surveyed 12,000 employees and discovered that factors rated most significant by those on the job are…work environment, job stability and overall company stability.

Other criteria found to be key to job satisfaction: advancement potential, perks packages, overall tone, flexible hours & proximity to home. Salary rated in as a relatively low-ranking fourth in terms of importance to employees, BTW.

So who are the best of the best? The top 10:

4) Orange (cellphones)
5) Teva (pharmaceuticals)
6) Bank HaPoalim
7) Cellcom (cellphones)
8) Strauss (dairy products)
9) Bank Leumi
10) Pelephone
