Who’dve thunk that Israelis would be making waves in Europe ahead of Italy on the pizza front?

But, indeed, it is happening according to the Hebrew daily Maariv. By way of spice. I.e. an Israeli development or plant that combines oregano & spicy red chili. The stuff you sprinkle on pizza. But instead of having two shakers, now all you need is one. Of course that would be AFTER the plant has been dried and processed.


“Oregano Hot N’ Spicy” (OMG – did anyone run a branding campaign before coming up with that name?) has hit markets in England, Belgium, Holland and Italy and it’s faring well.

Nice one. Can I get an X-tra large w/out anchovy?
