Well Done, Dry Bones!

May 29, 2007 - 10:00 AM by

Dry Bones cartoon strip has been around since Yaakov Kirschen first scribbled its characters in 1973. The strip was associated with the Jerusalem Post for decades but starting yesterday, YNet started running Kirschen’s signature funnies.

The announcement comes on the heels of another Dry Bones win: Five (!) first place rankings in the annual Jewish and Israeli Blogosphere Awards including Best Overall Jewish Blog of 2007.

“…being funny can also be important in preserving our culture, guarding our history, and fighting for our survival,” Kirschen told press.

Amen & Kudos.
