Target, the one-stop-super-shop for reduced rate (read: c-h-e-a-p) goods has decided to steer clear of Jewish mysticism.

According to this post, after a Kabbalah Centre “activist” sent a very disapproving e-mail to Target regarding sales of the little red Kabbalah string bracelets we have all come to recognize – thanks, Madonna – the superstore discontinued the item.

Okay. Does this mean the menswear section won’t be carrying kippot anymore either? Stam.

**A tipoff from a reader and a closer check of the original post revealed it is out of date…..I.e. Target long ago got out of the mysticism biz…Apologies!
