Charles is routinely updating on his blog Conflict Blotter including this entry describing the hair trigger tension in the Strip:
We caught a pair of Fatah guards outside Arafat’s old house unaware and had a pair of locked and loaded kalashnikovs leveled at our heads by screaming frantic guards. It was a bit unnerving, and really demonstrated just how edgy these Fatah guys were as they just sort of sat and waited for Hamas to come.

Chaz, a bit of advice: Foreign journalists are steering clear of Gaza. With a surname like “Levinson” you may want to 1) consider exiting 2) keep a VERY low profile
