Life in Israel has posted a quirky slice of life entry on a friend who routinely gives lifts to hitchhikers.
Recently, the friend offered a lift to a religious man who, during the ride, began chomping a bag of potato chips one of the driver’s kids had left in the backseat.
“Enjoy the chips,” the driver commented “but next time you should really at least make the bracha (blessing over the food) out loud so I could hear and …say ‘amen’ to it.”
This was pegged as a funny incident…
Um…Yuck.
Wait. Is that a half-eaten lollypop stuck to the carpet? I get dibs….
