The Cellphone Jokes
With the latest London bombing fiasco hitting the headlines, the jokes and commentary are sprouting as investigation details are revealed.
There’s Allison’s Grey’s Anatomy spoof making light of the M.D. factor in the bombing plot and my personal favorite, Nominally Challenged’s cross between Haiku and poetry:

Despite the inconvenience
I take some comfort in knowing
That at least my livelihood does not depend
Upon the retail value of a stolen mobile telephone
I guess we wouldn’t be laughing if the plan hadn’t been foiled…

Hey :)
Thanks for the plug, but I think I should mention that my poem is actually about the fact that my mobile phone was stolen – presumably by someone whose livelihood is based on stealing mobile phones …
Although, I like the fact that it also fits in with current affairs beyond my own little world. That’s kind of neat too :)
