Breaking the Silence
A Mother in Israel is busy busy busy. She blogs, works part time, raises a large family (6 children), runs a summer coop and keeps apprised of newsworthy matters while advising others on religion and religious law.

Were all of that not enough, she also has the insight to recognize that in closed communities people can sometimes feel isolated and unsupported.
A HUGE nod to Mom for starting the new blog “Shalom Bayit“, a venue for orthodox Jewish women to virtually talk with one another and get feedback on matters personal.
Many women in the Orthodox community suffering through difficult marriages lack an outlet to discuss their challenges. The purpose of this blog will be to give these women a home for them to share their stories and get “chizuk” (strength) from one another.
Mom, you are a boon to the blogosphere. You’re also very good people. VERY good people.
