Hamas vs. PA – the real story

For most of us, what’s going on in Gaza and the West Bank between the warring Palestinian factions doesn’t seem to have much bearing on everyday reality here.

But of course, it does, and the more we understand the inner workings of the Hamas – Fatah relationship, the clearer we’ll be able to come to decisions regarding what’s in Israel’s best interests.

I haven’t read a more insightful analysis of the whole Alan Johnston affair than
this one by Matt Rees, a journalist turned mystery writer. it just may surprise you.

And I’m not saying that just because Matt’s the bass player and spiritual advisor of our garage rock band Dolly Weinstein.

Even though his first mystery novel is out – The Collaborator of Bethlehem – Matt can’t totally stay away from the facts on the ground. Keep checking his blog if you want the real scoop on Palestinianreality.
