Tough Girlz

There are some tough female reporters out there – women who go into combat zones or face conflict while risking safety to bring back stories for the benefit of you and me.

We recently posted about local toughie Lisa and her foray into Beirut.

Rinat Malkes is another tough femme who was also in Beirut for the anniversary of last summer’s war and subsequently filed several special reports for international news agencies and Israel’s local press.

Here is a special report on her trip into one of Beirut’s dicey Hizbollah strongholds and how it’s being rebuilt with Iran’s money…

    2. Thanks for linking to Rinat’s report. It was a good one and very interesting. She & Lisa had lots of guts just to go to Lebanon, let alone to the Hezbollah strongholds. A lot more then I would every have. Rinat was the first Israeli blogger I ever read and have been reading her posts for almost five years. Take care Rinat & Lisa.
