Beach Bathers Beware!
If you’re planning a trip to Israel’s sandy coastline this weekend, you’ll be on your own after 5 p.m. tomorrow and Saturday when Israel’s lifeguards go on strike again. The guards plan to leave their posts at 5 throughout the country both Friday and Saturday EXCEPT for in Rishon Le’Zion and Ashdod where they depart at 1 p.m.
Last weekend lifeguards did the same thing i.e. walked off at 5 p.m. and tragically, three people drowned after they left.
