Romeo et Romeo

This next story is worth watching. Because the outcome is a potential precedent setter.

The short of it: An Israeli man has put in a request with the Interior Ministry to be allowed to be “unified” (read: live with) his Palestinian partner from the West Bank.

But only on weekdays because his West Bank partner is married, has children and needs to be home with family on weekends. (Read: he’s leading a double life).

The 50-something Israeli who filed the claim is citing “emotional support” as the reason for needing the arrangement.

The Interior Ministry publicly claims they’ll give it a think-over and get back to the couple (Read: It’ll probably sit on a desk collecting dust unless the press or the claim filer is relentless)

Bottom line: Mr. West Bank partner you had BEST be using protection back home in Tul Karem on the weekends!
