When a couple’s jet ski was found floating empty on the Sea of Galilee over the weekend, panic struck.

According to Hebrew daily Maariv, a helicopter and “water spolice” (i.e. inland coastguard) were enlisted to search for the two. The worst was suspected: they had drowned during their daytime outing.

Not so.

They had merely gotten up to a little bit of sumpin’sumpin’ on a deserted stretch of Galilee beach and were undetected by search parties.

When they exited their secret spot hours after going in, the young couple told rescue parties they had been too busy to notice the jet ski’s disappearance.

Ach, passion. You gotta love it.
