Another good cause aimed at rounding up food for the hungry as Rosh HaShanah edges nearer:

Jewlicious is organizing transport, lunch and a day of orchard picking this Friday on behalf of Table to Table Organization.

Buses will be heading out from Jerusalem and Tel Aviv – times and venues TBA. Your part: Pay NIS30, pick some produce, eat some lunch, drink some Arak and have a good time ALL for a good cause.

But you need to RSVP soon: Call: 054-664-7238 to register or link in to the Jewlicious site and follow the cues..

Each bus that comes will be able, in an hour, to pick a metric ton of produce that Table to Table will then redistribute to food banks.

THAT’s mighty impressive.
