Ikea: It’s About the Kosher
lizrael update spent her birthday at IKEA with her mother and husband. Hmmm…

(Um, I wouldn’t go too public with that if I were you. Make something up. Anything)
No, the service staff didn’t come out to the cafeteria carrying a mini-IKEA cake with candles serenading her with the happy birthday song in Hebrew. Since when does IKEA have table side service staff or birthday cake?
What they DO have, however, is kosher. Kosher food, a wash up station for people who perform the ritual cleansing ceremony before eating…
And in this post, lizrael says kosher IKEA is reason #243 for living in Israel – for her.
(Um…I wouldn’t go too public with that either. Make something up. Anything)

Hey! Their salmon is really good! :-)
So are the meatballs. wink wink
Dude, kosher swedish meatballs. I mean, I’m a vegetarian and all so I won’t eat them but even I would have to agree. Oh how I miss them (well, the non-kosher version that I had many long eons ago)
Haha… ouch.
Eliesheva: We love your entries and next time you have a shindig at IKEA hope to be invited, one and all. Amen. Let’s eat.
