Daylight Savings

September 15, 2007 - 8:30 AM by

Don’t forget to turn back the clocks tonight here in Israel as we kick over to winter mode.

Haha. Tell that “winter story” to the blazing sun and sweat-immersed,humid days.

But seriously. At 2 a.m. tonight (between Saturday & Sunday), move
the clock backwards by by an hour. Don’t worry. You can kick it forward again around April.

How much did the clock-changing save Israeli consumers last year? According to Hebrew daily Maariv, 80 million shekels ($20 million U.S.) in energy spending. Whew. Go fix that clock.
