NYC versus J-Town
Somebody over at Jewlicious was in Manhattan smack dab before the Jewish New Year and while hailing a cab on the Upper East Side en route to synagogue had the inkling: Hey, this part of town – and Upper West, for that matter – is a whole lot like Jerusalem! So I get it: Hebrew is Jewish and the national language of Israel, but everybody knows some Yiddish….I think it’s a tie.
