Star Struck

Well knock us all down with a dumbfounded gaze on our faces over this next star-gazer tidbit:

Apparently supermodel Bar Refaeli and a team of Sports Illustrated Magazine professionals were stateside (er, that would be in Israel) last week.

They were shooting the coming-out-in-February swimsuit issue featuring Ms. Refaeli, again. She appeared in last year’s swimsuit spread with rock band Aerosmith.

According to a Hebrew press report, Refaeli will probably grace the cover of the 2008 Swimsuit Issue. Wa Wa Wee Wa. That’s how everyone wound up working in Israel, says the same report. It was the location of Refaeli’s choosing. So with a little help from the country’s tourism ministry, the team made it all happen in secret. Pretty impressive.

Stay tuned in February!

  4. She brings nothing of the sort. She is a model for crying out loud AND one that is going out with a non-Jew – this is not role model [excuse the pun] stuff.

Bringing pride to Israel [still] is Zahal, and today still spoken about here in the United States with great respect.

Bringing pride to Israel is the Israeli fortitude and determination to live everyday under conditions that ought to make the rest of world hang their heads in disgrace when they support her enemies.

Bringing pride to Israel is its technology industries, populated by some of the brightest and most creative people.

These are things that bring pride, not a frivolous swim suit model! C’mon!
