A Beer Sheva couple is brewin’ up a lawsuit over the super botched catering job they say went down at their wedding reception.

According to local press, the couple signed a deal with a catering firm and fronted $$ for the night of their reception. Their package included the meal and thirty some waiters to service the 330 odd guests they had invited.

When the eve arrived, the couple was stunned to discover only seven of the thirty waitstaff showed – definitely not enough to get everyone fed and keep people happy.

So the bride and groom and their family members doubled up as “the help”.

Adding insult to injury, there wasn’t enough food. Even though an agreed upon amount had been determined prior. The situation was so dire that the groom burst into tears during the affair.

They’re suing the catering company – the owner isn’t returning the couple’s calls – for NIS 220,000 (Roughly $55,000.00).

If it’s true as is written, then good luck to the couple! And our advice here at Israelity is to put the dosh towards throwing another – albeit successful – party.
