Viva Israel

This is quite some turnabout. Have I slipped into some kind of alternate reality?

Two weeks ago no one had a good word to say about Israel. Israel was to blame for the fighting in Iraq, the problems in the Middle East, Al Qaeda, and even – get this – climate change (one British MP claimed that if the world’s climate spun out of control it was Israel’s fault for diverting attention away from the environment).

I opened the UK’s Sunday Times site this morning and what did I see in the comments section beneath a story about Israel. “Viva Israel”, “Well done Israel”, “God bless Israel”, “Israel is doing our job, once again.” I almost choked on my coffee. This was a British newspaper? But the same tone was reflected in other papers too, all over the world.

So what has happened to turn Israel into the people’s choice? An audacious commando raid that may, or may not, have taken place on a Syrian nuclear arms depot. And suddenly Israel has once more become that plucky little country making daring maneuvers in the midst of a sea of enemies.

Can’t help but think that people worldwide are now hoping that they’ll wake up one morning and discover that Israel has also dealt with another one of their nuclear problems.

    2. I am sick of the UK considering giving £12k to all terrorist families . People who left a present of a tin of biscuits which exploded and killed young British soldiers and they are now in government. Then we have protests when the IDF finally decide to take on the worst group of terrorist in the world. We always manage to have the do gooder’s who speak up for them when they where finally getting what they deserved

    Although – I, Israel, have done and will continue to do:

    For The World -

    - Water down, change, reject and ultimately simply ignore all UN-SC Resolutions

    - Continue to give a damn about International Law, Agreements and Arrangements under which I have put my signature and on top of it you must accept that the Human Rights don’t concern me a bit

    For The (non-existing) Palestinians –

    - I will continue to twist and turn your thousands of years old history in order that it fits my narrative and not yours anymore – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue on daily basis to strangle and humiliate you with my continuous military occupation of your land – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to kill your family members – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to destroy your houses – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to kill you while you’re working your fields – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to uproot your trees and orchards – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to dispossess you – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to burn your land – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to wall you in, to steal your aquifers and to grab the rest of your fertile land – but you MUST love me

    - I will spirit you out of your land wherever I can – but you MUST love me

    - I will continue to make your life within and outside your homeland miserable because I will on daily basis dehumanize you – but you MUST love me

    - At the end I will take your entire land away from you – but you MUST love me

    - I will hunt you down in the remotest corners of this earth and make sure that you don’t have one single peaceful day in case I decide that you are a terrorist – but you MUST love me

    - And if this is not enough and you still resist I will make sure that the west will equally hate you, what you stand for and what you believe in – but you MUST love me

    But as you still don’t love me after all this beautiful, generous and humane things I have done for you – you are a person full of hate, a liar, a criminal, a terrorist, a Jew hater – in one word: an anti Semite of the worst kind.

    4. Poor old Peter – another twisted Jew hater. There are so many. They all love Palestinians. We are the only people who do not deserve a country. The Palestinians are an artificial construct by anti-zionists. They are not a separate people from their surrounding brethren. They have plenty of territory already, they do not need another country. The Arabs have their demands, they would, and that is their opinion. The left and the liberals and the intellectuals and the Jewish renegades supporting them are completely twisted. But they probably only fought Nazis when Germany turned on Russia – otherwise they would have appeased them too. I mixed with the left for many years – I too was intimidated at university, and have been told since that I cannot be an intellectual and support Israel.

    Now I’ve come out. Israel is fantastic, dynamic, beautiful, brave, have a 3000 year claim to the country, so they do not need to rewrite 1000 years of history. Arabs have their point of view, but their twisted supporters are clinically insane, everything is reversed for them, good is bad, victim is persecutor. These are the people teaching, social working, council running, media running, chattering classes – they are round the bend.

    Long life Israel – all power to you – do whatever you need to do to blossom and survive – we support you always.

    5. Chavie ,chavie ! Twisted Jewhater ? I´m on the side of GOOD Jews one of my heros is Hayo Meyer a Jew from Holland surviver of auschwitz he was recently in Israel and is against your way of making Peace and landrobbery
