When Mealtime is Hell

At 58, Shahdah Abu Arar has eight wives, 20 grandchildren and 67 (!!!) children. Two wives are currently pregnant. And Abu Arar sez he isn’t slowing down.

He lives in Burgatah in Israel’s center and when he got started marrying and fathering back in 1967, he lived in the Negev. He was quite er, um..active then. 31 of his kids were “produced” with the first two wives.

A few of the wives come from over the Green Line so 14 of the kids have questionable residency. Sticky.

And what does he do to feed the family? Shahdah and the kids grow flowers and vegetables near the family complex, raise cows, sheep and goats “so we have something to eat,” he says. and… “I am also the only camel breeder in the entire Sharon area. I have many camels that give meat, milk and wool and that supports us.”

    5. lol…or more like having barcode chips under the skin or something. Scan them all when they come in the house to make sure everyone’s at home….
