As Ra’anana Ramblings points out, there are still two months until Hannuka hits Israel.

And with the holiday, as old timers know, come donuts! Homer’s gourmandese delight of choice. The rest of the year, the greasy treats are hard to come by but when Hannuka season is ushered in there’s a glut.

Taste buds benefit. Waste line loses.

Be gone diet! Tis the season.
