That's my favorite thing about it.

I love President Clinton's quote: “No peace stands a chance of lasting if it does not deliver real results to ordinary people.”

I see examples like these as an inversion of that-- ordinary people refusing to obey the nonsense that we grow up on and fighting for peace, or at least forming meaningful coexistence and the partnerships that wage peace in the longterm.

I have been writing about Dr. Dorian Paskowtiz's surging initiatives, the Playgrounds for Peace projects, Middle Eastern environmentalism, and now Aric Lapter and Rasheed Nashashibi's motor sports partnership.

I am keeping my eye out for as many as I can come up with and looking forward to learning and writing about them as soon as I do. Love to see your findings as well.

What never ceases to amaze me is the sheer number of initiatives like this.
Ordinary Israelis and Palestinians are just getting up and deciding that they've had enough, and if the politicians can't make peace, they will.
I love it.
