If you live in Israel and drink milk or eat milk products, you’ll be happy to know that the cheap-o price you were paying for nature’s Vitamin D (infused with some other stuff) has risen again. You didn’t want to pay less when you could be paying more, now did you?

Okay so milk prices went up a mere three months ago by 4%. But didn’t you just get a raise? No? Well then that will make yesterday’s 6% hike even more fun for us all!

But wait! There’s more!

Electricity costs will hike within a week too. Yes, I know they’ve been on the up and up three times over the past four months. But winter is rapidly approaching so the timing is perfect! Another 4.25% cost increase to kick in just as those winter heater coils begin glowing red in your living room.

Crank up the thermostat and fix yourself a HUGE cup of cocoa.

Gee golly joy! Isn’t life grand?

    2. Well, ya know, the electric company workers need their 20,000 NIS/month salary, right? After all, they have to keep up with the high salaries of the teachers and professors, right?
